There were a dozen of us at the monument at 8am. Everyone signing the register & taking pictures. Apparently my helicopter hat is "sick". Then one by one everyone took off down the trail. By mile 10 it became clear I wouldn't make Lake Morena that night so I camped at Hauser Creek with LB, Minnesota, Joe & Joanna & others. I'm stoked & my legs are holding up.
