Lookout Rock. After a 10 mile hill climb we arrived here in time to watch the sunset. Beautiful. Today had a few surprises. First there was th swimming hole at the middle fork of the feather river. We got there at 2 pm and dived in. After a refreshing swim we ate lunch and laid on the boulders in the sun. The water temp was perfect. Just cold enough to feel good after a hot hike. Then there was a spring before reaching camp that had delicious water. And finally Lookout Rock. Another great day.
